Eva & Kent met in Santa Barbara in 2001, shortly there after, they decided to move to Bucerias.

After four years, Kent decided to open a restaurant for Eva, for that if something were to happen to him, Eva would have a comfortable living.

They chose a set of buildings which included four apartments, a laundry mat and a junkyard across the side street from the popular restaurant Mark´s Bar and Grill.

Doing most of the renovation work himself, it took Kent about two years to transform the buildings into what it is now...

The restaurant opened in the fall of 2008. It has an indoor air-conditioned dining room as well as an outside garden courtyard.

Eva and Kent decided they wanted their restaurant to be unique in so far as the food they served and how it was prepared.

All items are made to order, nothing is prepared in advance thus assuring the clients that no matter what they order, it will be fresh.

With Eva running the front of the restaurant and Kent in the kitchen they have grown in less than a year and a half from a virtually unknown restaurant to being rated the number one best restaurant in Bucerias and number three of over one hundred restaurants in the State of Nayarit by Trip Advisor.

At Eva´s Brickhouse not only is the cuisine fabulous and the decor beautiful but Eva and Kent will make you feel as you have known them for years and you are a guest in their home.
